The Sephora sale officially starts next week + this is my favourite time of the year to do both a refresh & a restock of my makeup and skincare.
Sephora has been with me since my teen years, though my priorities of what I am purchasing have definitely changed.
Here is everything I am buying this year from the sale as a mom!!
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE SEPHORA SALE:
The spring sale runs from April 10-20th, and you just need to use code SPRINGSALE at checkout.
The sale is tiered based on your membership level — so the higher your tier, the more you save:
Rouge (spend $1,000+/year) — 20% off
VIB — 15% off
Insider (free to join!) — 10% off
HOW I AM APPROACHING THIS YEAR’S SEPHORA SALE:
I don’t ever want to overpurchase and buy just for the sake of buying, but these days If I can get a deal on products I actually use (or have been wanting to try) I am going to take it!
Before a big sale like this I ALWAYS make sure to to an inventory of what I have, because let’s be honest sometimes we buy things before even checking what we already own!!
WHY I VALUE MAKEUP + SKINCARE AS A MOM:
Having products and routines that I actually love is such a key part of my mental health and loving my day to day as a mom. Getting ready in the morning is one of my favourite parts of the day, even if it means that sometimes I only get a couple minutes, and often there is a toddler at my feet chatting or playing.
Getting ready with my coffee, a good playlist & my favourite products makes me feel girly + feminine and like I am taking care of myself even in busy seasons!

Everything from the ordinary
Discovering the ordinary was one of the best things for my skin. I am an eczema girly with very dry + sensitive skin. I have spent thousands on skincare over the years, and yet this is what I always will come back to! I love their simple formulas, fair pricing (they have gone up a lot since covid but still so much cheaper than other brands!!) + still aesthetic packaging.
I always keep in stock:
100% Plant-Derived Squalane for Skin and Hair Hydration
Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Hydrating Serum with Ceramides
Natural Moisturizing Factors + Hyaluronic Acid Daily Moisturizer
I love stocking up on these during the sale because I KNOW I will re-buy anyways.
DAE:
I LOVE dae products. I miss Amber on the internet, but love the brand that she has built! I find all the products long-lasting + truly smell SO GOOD!
Cactus Fruit 3-in-1 Styling Cream: If you only buy one dae product let it be this! The smell is so good. You can use after the shower or I love to use it when I am doing everyday slick back buns!
Cactus Fruit 3-in-1 Styling Cream WAND: Love this to keep for on the go (especially when I am shooting weddings in the summer!)
Fairy Duster Dry Shampoo: The smell and the shimmer of this are so good! If you are trying to avoid aerosols but still want a product that actually works I would highly reccomend
OUAI:
If you cannot afford to go on a luxury vacation, get anything from Oaui that is “St.Barts” scented!!!!
St. Barts Cleansing Scalp & Body Sugar Scrub: I use this when I have an everything shower to exfoliate my legs!
Detangling and Frizz Fighting Leave In Conditioner: Must have for a post-lake swim!
St. Barts Hair and Body Mist with Dragon Fruit + Orange Blossom: Again, makes you smell like you have been on a tropical vacation
Mini Glowscreen SPF 40 Sunscreen with Hyaluronic Acid: I have been a glowscreen girl since the beginning and it truly is one of the best tinted sunscreens you can get! If you are a busy mom who wants a bit of glow without having to do a full face of makeup, you will love this! throw a bit on with some mascara and you will be feeling great. I buy the mini and it lasts me the summer!
On ‘Til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray: This setting spray is INSANE!!! I only use it for days when I am shooting weddings or attending events where I truly want my makeup to last all day long. It feels like you are wearing hair spray on your face (in the sense that your makeup will not budge) but that is why it isn’t a daily use product for me! Buy the mini!
Glazing Mist Hydrating Face Spray: Hailey Bieber you have my heart. I love the glow and hydration this brings! I usually use post skincare, pre-makeup!
Glowy Super Gel Lightweight Dewy Multipurpose Illuminator: If you like glowy makeup this product is for you! It is so versatile and can be used all over your whole face or like a highligher!
Revealer Skin-Improving Foundation SPF25 with Hyaluronic Acid and Niacinamide: As a dry-skin girlie, foundations can be tricky for me, but this one has been so good!!
Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm Treatment for Hydration: This is the OG lip gloss in my mind and I love the jelly applicator so much!
Rhode Peptide Lip Tint Nourishing Glaze: How can you go wrong!!
Water Sleeping Mask: The only thing that truly makes me feel like a glazed donut!
eczema+ Dermatitis Ceramide Face + Body Cream: This product was fine, but for $60 I didn’t see any more help for my eczema than a basic cerave cream.
Eczema+ Ceramide Hand + Foot Relief Cream: Again, I feel like they are just targeting girlies with ezcema, but I didn’t notice anything special compared to a basic cream!
Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops Serum: TBH I love this product, the smell is amazing, they do give great glow, but I feel like i blink and the bottle is gone, and I can never get out all the product because of glass container

Go grab your restocks, try something new, and add a little luxury to your everyday routine. Shop the Sephora sale before your faves sell out.
