as I have moved deep into third trimester, my nightstand is my go to spot for my self care and useful items that get me through the nights! this is the time of pregnancy that always has the most insomnia, so I try to prep my space to be as routine based as possible, and also have some of my fave items to make the nights better
I keep extra strength from Saje right next to my bed and do a roll on my temples! i don’t use this on my bump during pregnancy, but i love the smell so much
(disclaimer: pregnancy looks different for everyone—always check with your healthcare provider before using essential oils)
🫶🏻 base nails (press-ons)
Not something I necessarily do at night, but I do love to watch a show before bed while putting press-on nails on, such an easy way to feel put together
❄️ ice roller
Perfect for tired eyes, headaches or those nights when my face just needs a little love!! Love this in the morning and evening
📖 my kindle
Catch me reading this every single night. Having an e-reader has made such a difference, I love that I can read with all the lights off, laying down and it actually helps me fall asleep (or keeps me company during those long insomnia nights)
💧 diffuser
I run my diffuser most nights with something calming like lavender or citrus.
pro tip: I also keep a carafe of water beside it so I only have to refill the carafe once a week instead of refilling the diffuser every night
🌸 everydae prenatals
I need to keep my prenatals in eyesight or I will forget to take them. I have loved using Everydae this time around!
I use the red light at night for reading, which supports melatonin production. In the morning (or if I wake up in the middle of the night) the warm sunrise light is very calming and not harsh at all.
🤍 tums + iced water (non-negotiable)
My two true loves. Tums for nighttime heartburn and a big cup of iced water with lemon to hold my evenings together. every single night!!
